Hi, I'm Richard. I teach from home in my spare time on an electric kit and I'm C.R.B checked.

I decided to use 'DRUMSENSE' because it provides a solid foundation for any aspiring drummer to build on. I remember when I first started playing that taking lessons helped me to progress a lot quicker than if I'd tried to work everything out myself.

I've played mostly in rock outfits doing originals and covers. I've also been lucky enough to record at Maida Vale studios for the Friday Rock Show on Radio 1, played in Los Angeles and have done a bit of TV work in Malta.

I had no idea I'd get to do those things when I started out and I consider myself to be an average player. So if you're reading this and thinking about giving the drums a go, then do it.

You never know where your playing might take you.
